Export your Google Maps Timeline
The file needed by the video maker comes from Google Maps on your phone. You can also start with photos that contain a location and time.
What to check
On Android, open Settings, Location, Location services, then Timeline. Choose Export Timeline data and save the JSON file.
On iPhone or iPad, open Google Maps settings, find the Timeline export under your personal or location settings, then save location-history.json to Files. Google changes menu labels; use its current help page if yours differs.
